We are announcing a forthcoming print publication, Girl In A Bowtie: Lessons of a Pediatric Resident by Ogie Ezeoke, MD, to be published in late 2022.
Ogie Ezeoke, MD is a pediatric cardiology fellow who combines her love of poetry, prose and solving pediatric puzzles with a dedication to equitable patient care, physician wellness, and learning through narrative medicine. Her first print book is a collection of stories following her time as a resident physician in a big hospital by the sea.
Ogie draws upon her experiences as a trainee in medicine; learning often, healing sometimes, always attempting to comfort, meeting families at often the most distressing time of their lives. Each story offers a glimpse into the life of a pediatric resident and into the system of the ever evolving medical field.
Stay tuned for the publication of this latest book by Pager Publications, Inc., a 501c3 nonprofit literary corporation.
