We announce the publication of Girl In A Bowtie: Lessons of a Pediatric Resident by Ogie M. Ezeoke, MD.
The book is currently on sale for $15.95.
Ogie M. Ezeoke, MD is a pediatric cardiology fellow who combines her love of poetry, prose and solving pediatric puzzles with a dedication to equitable patient care, physician wellness, and learning through narrative medicine. Her first print book is a collection of stories following her time as a resident physician in a big hospital by the sea.
Dr. Ezeoke draws upon her experiences as a trainee in medicine: learning often, healing sometimes, always attempting to comfort, meeting families at often the most distressing time of their lives. Each story offers a glimpse into the life of a pediatric resident and into the system of the ever evolving medical field.
The book was edited by Dr. Aleena Paul and is published by Pager Publications, Inc., a 501c3 nonprofit publishing house founded by Ajay Major, MD, MBA and Aleena Paul, MD, MBA, MSEd in 2015. All proceeds from the book go to Pager Publications, Inc. and will be used to pay for the website costs of all of our online publications. All members of the in-Training and Pager Publications, Inc. editorial boards are unpaid and volunteer.
